The bed bug is a parasite that can feed on almost any mammal. Bed bugs are truly global creatures. Favored by tourism, they quietly conquer countries and become a plague for the local population. These tiny insects only become active at night when their host is asleep. They then crawl out of their hiding places, which can be up to 8 meters away, and feed on their host within 10 minutes. A skin reaction can take several days or may never appear at all. As a result, bed bugs are rarely detected. They spread rapidly by sneaking into luggage.
