The wall spider is a spider species originally from the Mediterranean region that is increasingly found in Central Europe. It is easily recognizable by its brown and beige patterned body. Its name derives from its preferred habitat – walls, house facades, and building crevices. This spider is nocturnal and lives a secretive life, which is why it is rarely noticed. Only the webs it leaves behind indicate its presence.
